Dirndl is comprises of a complete set of bodice, blouse, full skirt and apron. It looks quite simple and attractive but the modern dirndls are expensive too. The name ìdirndlî is derived form the south Germany and it means ìyoung girl or womanî. Hence in the modern world the word dirndl may be referred to the young girl or the dress. Dirndls are the improvisation of the traditional skirts.
